Sally Hopewell
Senior Research Fellow, CONSORT
Sally joined the CSM in March 2007 and is working on a programme of methodological research to support the work of the CONSORT Group, funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). The objective of CONSORT is to facilitate critical appraisal and interpretation of randomized trials by providing guidance to authors about how to improve the reporting of their trials.
Sally also works at the UK Cochrane Centre and has been an active member of The Cochrane Collaboration since 1999. She was awarded a D.Phil at the University of Oxford in 2005, carrying out research into the effects of unpublished data in systematic reviews. Her research interests include the control of bias susceptibility in systematic reviews and randomized trials.
