Nicola Alder
Medical Statistician (NHS Support)Nicola Alder graduated from Cardiff University in 2002 with a BSc in Mathematics and then completed an MSc in Medical Statistics at the University of Leicester.
She joined the CSM in November 2003 and since then has provided statistical support and consultancy to the local NHS (Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire). She is also involved in a number of observational studies and randomised controlled trials in the fields of paediatrics (gastrostomy feeding of children with cerebral palsy plus gait analysis in an unrelated but similar patient cohort) and old age psychiatry (cognitive behavioural therapy for depression and non-pharmacological treatments for dementia).
