The Centre for Statistics in Medicine was established in Oxford in September 1995 and for the last 10 years the principal tenet of the work has been to promote the awareness and application of appropriate statistical methods in medical research. Eight key-note speakers will provide an opportunity to reflect on the impact that the profession of medical statistics has had on medical research as a whole. The day will be enjoyed by individuals from either medical or statistical backgrounds.
