Iveta Simera
Senior Project Manager (EQUATOR Network)
Iveta joined CSM in March 2006 as an EQUATOR Network Project Manager and helped to launch the initiative officially in June 2008. The EQUATOR Network is an international programme that seeks to promote transparent and accurate reporting of health research (equator-network.org).
In her current role as a Head of Programme Development, Iveta is responsible for the overall management and running of the EQUATOR Network.
Iveta has a PhD degree in Plant Genetics from Charles University in Prague and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. She has broad research and business experience. After moving to England nine years ago, she started to pursue a career in the development of systematic reviews and clinical guidelines at the Cochrane Collaboration, Royal College of Nursing Institute, and at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, University College London. She is interested in responsible research conduct and reporting, and in knowledge management.
